About
Hello! I’m Victoria, the all-round creative human behind Victoria Rose Ball.
My journey into illustration began with a fascination with for buildings and architecture - not designing them, but capturing their history and charm through drawing.
In 2013, I moved to the stunning city of Edinburgh, a city full of inspiration, to start my BA(Hons) in Illustration at Edinburgh College of Art. During my third year at University, I officially launched Victoria Rose Ball as a business, starting by turning my university projects into products to sell online and at various local markets.
Since then I have been growing my creative business, continued to build my brand, creating bespoke illustrations, maps and merchandise that bring stories, places and ideas to life.
My work combines bold, vibrant colour palettes with unusual perspectives to create illustrations that are fun and full of life. Many of these designs evolve into product ranges that make perfect gifts for locals and visitors alike.
In addition to my product ranges, I have an extensive portfolio showcasing my passion for illustrating architecture, maps and all things typography. From pin badges and digital maps, to house portraits and wedding invites - I’ve had the privilege of working on a variety of commissioned projects.
